BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Natalie has been working at summer camps for the last twelve years and is excited to have her turn as a camp director! She worked as a counselor for many years before becoming a camp nurse. She has been a member of camp boards as well as camp staff so is comfortable with the many aspects of camp life both on and off campus year round. While she works as a pediatric nurse year round, camp has always been her favorite job! The space at camp Whitman holds a special place in Natalie's heart as well, because she met her husband here when they were both campers at age 11! Natalie is so excited to meet all the new campers this year, and provide a space where they can make the same kinds of lasting friendships that she was able to make as a child!
Marie has worked as a Counselor, Aquatics Director, Program Staff, Assistant Director and Encampment Director for children’s camps for over 25 years. Her passion for the outdoors as fueled her love of camps and sharing those experiences with young people. Marie attended outdoor camps as a young child, but her love for the camping experience was truly recognized when she became a Counselor for a camp that originally used the beautiful space of Camp Whitman. From that time, over 25 years ago, she has not stopped sharing her love of the outdoors with young people. Marie went back to college as an adult and received a degree in Natural Conservation in order to further her teaching and sharing experiences with children. Marie is so excited to begin this new journey with Camp Quin. She is even more excited to begin this journey with the talented and loving group of Board Members for Camp Quin.
As an interesting side note – at one time, Marie was the Camp Counselor for all of our Board Members. They are family that have a collected passion for Camp Quin. She can’t wait to meet you all!!
Camp Quin is proud to present its camp board. This amazing group of people has spent many hours year after year working to make the very best camp experience possible. You can trust that they know what they're doing since every one of them met as children at camp themselves, and hasn't been able to stay away since! This group is dedicated to providing a beautiful community that campers will always have as a place of support and friendship in their lives. They can't wait to meet you!
